The 2025 Toyota Corolla LE base trim starts with an impressive array of standard features, including a 169-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine coupled with a Dynamic-Shift CVT or continuously variable transmission. The Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE makes a return for its sophomore year, and as the first of the hybrid options, you can expect entry-level goodness. It’s similar to the gas-only LE model, with the exception of what’s under the hood. Instead of that 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the Hybrid LE operates on a practical, smooth, and efficient 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 138 horsepower.
Another notable deviation with the Hybrid LE is its transmission: an electronically controlled CVT – a buttery smooth gear-shifting experience exclusive to hybrid models.

Like the entry-level LE, the new Toyota Corolla SE sports a 169-horsepower 2.0-liter engine, generating 151 pound-feet of torque. However, the new Corolla SE trim level adds a Sport mode to the Normal and Eco drive modes that come standard, allowing you to tailor your drive on demand.

A brand-new edition for the 2025 model year, the FX model prioritizes stylistic uniformity – it has satin black wheels, Moonstone interior seats with orange stitching, and a signature FX-enhanced rear spoiler, to name a few of its luxurious appointments.
Inside, you can expect a similar level of elegance. The previously available premium instrumentation cluster becomes standard, as does the 10.5-inch touchscreen display. You’ll have a wireless smartphone charger to keep your device topped up, too.
While the FX trim level was all about blacked-out styling and power, the XSE model is about mingling style with lightweight capability. This Toyota Corolla XSE has a leather-wrapped tilt/telescopic steering wheel with paddle shifters. The wheels on this model measure at 18 inches with a graphite-color finish, and the side rocker panels and rear spoiler are draped in a gray shade.
At this level, a power tilt and slide moonroof becomes standard, allowing you to bathe the cabin in natural light and fresh air. Inside, your audio experience can be upgraded to the nine-speaker JBL® sound system. But safety and awareness are non-negotiable with standard Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert indicators on those power-folding side mirrors – and easy defrosting with their newfound heated function.
Speaking of heat functions, the front seats get the same capability, meaning those crisp winter mornings won’t have you shivering the whole way to work.
If you’re looking for the best of the best, the Hybrid XLE gives it to you. Many features from the XSE carry over, including heated front seats.
