This Toyota Banderiante is one of the most unique and enduring variants of the legendary Toyota Land Cruiser. Built in Brazil and designed for rugged utility, the Banderante earned a reputation for durability in some of the toughest environments in South America. This 1991 left-hand-drive double cab example was imported from Brazil and retains many of its market-specific features, including a Mercedes-Benz-sourced 4.0L OM364 diesel engine paired with a dual-range transfer case and four-speed manual transmission. Known for reliability and fuel efficiency, the diesel-powered Bandeirante became a staple for farms, expeditions, and commercial use throughout Brazil.

Finished in blue with a white roof, this truck features two rows of bench seating upholstered in black, upgraded 16-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch tires, manual locking front hubs, power steering, air conditioning, spray-in bedliner protection, and a retro-style AM/FM radio.

Toyota's Brazilian division began producing the Land Cruiser locally in 1958, eventually renaming the model "Bandeirante"-- a tribute to the historic Brazilian explorers known for venturing into remote territory. Much like its namesake, the Bandeirante became a symbol of adventure, resilience, and capability.
