2020 Toyota Tundra Towing Trailer in Mountains
The 2020 Toyota Tundra was built for the kind of towing that truck drivers in Dallas demand. The heavy-duty TripleTech frame features an integrated tow hitch receiver, with the trailer hitch attached directly to the truck’s body with 12 high-strength bolts. The result? A 2020 Toyota Tundra towing capacity that maxes out at 10,200 pounds, ready to get you to your job site in Fort Worth or Grapevine safe and sound.

It’s stylish enough to take the crew out for after-work burgers in Irving when the day is done, too.

Exceptional Towing Capacity

The 2020 Toyota Tundra is a powerhouse designed to tow:

  • 5.7L aluminum i-FORCE V8
  • 381 hp @ 5600 rpm
  • 401 lb-ft @ 3600 rpm
  • 6-speed Electronically Controlled automatic Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i)
  • Sequential shift mode and uphill/downhill shift logic (5.7L V8 models add TOW/HAUL Mode)
  • Available Integrated Trailer Brake Controller (ITBC) and standard Trailer-Sway Control (TSC)

All of this adds up to an available 10,200 pounds of towing capacity in a truck that’s been SAE J2807-rated for ten years. The Toyota Tundra tow mirrors are something special, too, with available heated power outside tow mirrors with integrated blind spot mirrors, turn signal indicators, and manual-extend and -folding feature. Add the Tundra’s maximum payload up to 1,730 pounds, and you have the power to haul to Grapevine.
